Emma Case is a photographer with her work deeply rooted in collaboration and centred around highlighting social issues, celebrating communities and promoting positive social change.

Emma has worked with many cultural organisations and charities, building relationships over time and working together to share important stories in creative ways. This year her work included ‘The People of Anfield’ commissioned by Open Eye Gallery, and ‘The Threads That Bind us’ a project with Tate Liverpool and young people from Tiber in Toxteth. 

She is currently Artist in Residence at Open Eye Gallery and resident artist with the charity Feeding Liverpool having created Good Food: Our Food, launching in 2023 and currently touring various community venues across the city.

Emma also runs The Red Archive – collecting LFC fans’ personal photos and stories. www.theredarchive.org

Other smaller recent projects have seen Emma work creatively with Refugee Women Connect, Community Integrated Care and Liverpool Lighthouse.

Emma is fluent in British Sign Language.
